What is an Image Consultant?
An Image Consultant is a professional who specializes in visual appearance, verbal and non-verbal communication.  An Image Consultant may have one or more specialties such as color and wardrobe analysis, closet organization, personal shopping, speech, media and presentation skills, or etiquette and protocol.

What does AICI mean after an Image Consultant's name?
This indicates that the Image Consultant has received an accreditation, by demonstrating proficiency in visual image, and verbal and non-verbal communication.  This accreditation is awarded by the Association of Image Consultants International (AICI). An Image Consultant may also be certified by an institution (also accredited by AICI) which provides advanced training in such areas as color, style, etiquette, protocol, and verbal and non-verbal communication. In essence, an Image Consultant with these designations has been professionally trained and has demonstrated an advanced level of proficiency in image related areas.

What could I expect from an initial consultation?

We will complete a detailed Image Profile, which will provide information regarding your preferences, goals, lifestyle and budget. We will discuss a color and style analysis and come away with an action plan to support your goals.

How do I know when it's time to update my look?
This isn't easy, but a few signs are when - people guess your age five years older than you are, when many items in your closet are outdated, worn or no longer fit, or when you have undergone a major life change or transition.  These could include such events such as entering or returning to the workforce, leaving the workforce, or a change in career.  Other life altering transitions might include having children, divorce, or retirement.  One of the biggest clues however, is any time you don't feel great when you look in the mirror!
